Municipality of Knivsta was able to establish a new town hall and municipal office while maintaining control

Nordisk Renting and Municipality of Knivsta initiated their collaboration in 2009. The municipality saw the value in Nordisk Renting’s customized offer when they built a new town hall and municipality office. They saw a great advantage in being able to maintain control over ownership through a repurchase option at a predetermined price. This was to avoid tying up capital in the town hall at that time and instead prioritize investments in services for the residents.

“In 2022 we had the opportunity to buy back the town hall. This solution has created great value for us, and it feels good that we can now complete the plan we jointly set in 2009,” says Göran Nilsson (M), chairman of the municipal board.
