Nordisk Renting expands relationships with municipalities in Sweden through an agreed acquisition

Nordisk Renting has acquired two strategic nursing homes in Västerås and Flen.

For almost 40 years, Nordisk Renting has been a reliable partner to Swedish municipalities, where we offer a unique solution that combines long-term property ownership with full control for our customers. Through buy-back options, the municipalities gain both flexibility and security, which makes it possible for them to regain ownership of the properties in the future. In this transaction, the existing leases are unaffected when Nordisk Renting acquires the properties.

Nordisk Renting continues its growth journey with two new customers in the public sector through acquisitions from SBB. The City of Västerås and the Municipality of Flen have signed a 25-year and 20-year agreement respectively for two newly built nursing homes. Both properties, built and developed by the seller, are modern facilities designed to meet the long-term needs of municipalities. The property in Västerås was completed this year and consists of 80 apartments and the property in Flen and is an ongoing construction of a nursing home of 70 apartments that is planned to be completed by the summer of 2025. The newly built nursing homes meet high sustainability requirements with Miljöbyggnad Silver certification. The properties are strategically located to optimize accessibility and service for the elderly.
