Nordisk Renting acquires a strategic property in Turku and welcomes Revvity as new customer
Revvity will be a much-welcomed addition to Nordisk Renting’s growing portfolio in the Nordics, expanding within the life science sector.
The asset is leased on a triple-net basis by Revvity Inc., one of the world’s leading life sciences and diagnostics companies. The property is strategically located between the Biolaakso and Lauste industrial areas c. 5 km south-east from Turku city centre. The asset and Revvity form part of Turku’s established life science cluster ‘HealthTurku’ and the asset comprises a well-functioning laboratory, production and office building totalling c. 29,000 sqm of lettable area. This makes the asset one of Revvity’s largest R&D and production facilities, well suited for their operations as evidenced by their long-term occupation of the asset.
“The property is strategically important for Revvity’s operations as it is located in Turku’s life science cluster with several other life sciences companies and two universities providing a unique environment to develop and grow the company’s business,” says Petri Kallio, Managing Director of Revvity Turku.
“We are pleased to establish a new relationship with Revvity and enable continued development of its business at this very strategic location. The transaction is fully in line with our strategy for continued growth and development of long-term partnerships with large corporates and the public sector across the Nordic region,” says Anders Hammarstedt, interim CEO of Nordisk Renting.
