Nordisk Renting and the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health sign a lease agreement for premises in Panuntie, Käpylä

The lease agreement initiates the refurbishment of the property and supports Nordisk Renting’s strategy to build long-term partnerships with the public sector.

The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health is Finland’s leading expert in occupational health and safety, and cooperation with Nordisk Renting provides the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health with excellent surroundings for continuing its important work to promote the well-being of Finns.

The property will be modernised and the premises leased to the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health will be adapted to suit the nature of the operations, including not only office premises but also patient and laboratory facilities. In connection with the renovation, a new ground floor and a new entrance will be built, and the project is expected to be finalised by the end of 2025. The agreement with Finnish Institute of Occupational Health covers approximately 3300m2, which accounts for almost half of the lettable area in the property.

“We have carefully assessed our future space needs across different functions and employee groups. Hybrid work has changed working life, resulting in a decreasing need for square metres. In Käpylä we will have premises that take into account communality, different ways of working and sustainability. In addition, the location with good transport connections will support the daily lives of our personnel, customers, and stakeholders,” says Antti Koivula, Director General of the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.

With the refurbishment, the property offers also new customers the opportunity to settle in modern, tailor-made premises with excellent services.
