Nordisk Renting establishes a new customer relationship with Equinix

Nordisk Renting adds a new relationship through the acquisition of a data center property in Bromma of 23,000 sqm
Nordisk Renting has completed an acquisition of a fully leased data center asset in Bromma, Stockholm – an area with strong infrastructure. The property comprises approximately 23,000 square meters and the largest tenant is Equinix, a global leader in digital infrastructure and data centers.
Equinix, headquartered in Redwood City, California, owns and operates a network of 270 scalable and AI-ready data centers strategically located in 75 metropolitan areas worldwide to enable co-location, interconnectivity, ecosystem access, and unique performance.
The transaction entails a long-term lease agreement with Equinix for just over 14 years. The property is technically well-equipped with extensive upgrades, including improved ventilation, electrical systems, and fire protection. It is designed to meet high demands for security, energy efficiency, and flexibility – characteristics that are critical to data center operations. The company has a clear strategy for growth in the Nordic region and sees the property as a hub of its Swedish operations.
Through the acquisition, Nordisk Renting will have the opportunity to establish a new customer relationship with a company that has a strong financial profile and long-term focus. “We are pleased to enter into a long-term partnership with Equinix, where we support their expansion,” says Anna Hallsten, CEO of Nordisk Renting.
