The Swedish National Heritage Board signs a new six-year agreement in Visby with Nordisk Renting

Nordisk Renting’s customer relationship with the Swedish National Heritage Board is extended for six years in Visby. In close collaboration, the premises of approximately 3,500 sqm have been adapted to the future with a strong focus on sustainability and reuse – a work that has resulted in a saving of approximately 250 tonnes of carbon dioxide, which can be compared to driving about 33 laps around the world with a petrol-powered car.

“We are proud to have carried out a careful and sustainable adaptation of premises together with the Swedish National Heritage Board that both meets future needs and protects the environment. We look forward to continued good cooperation in our relationship, which began almost 20 years ago,” says Anna Hallsten, CEO of Nordisk Renting.

The adaptation has been carried out with great respect for the building’s character and with reuse as a guiding principle. By reusing existing materials and furnishings, the project has been able to minimize climate impact and at the same time create modern and functional working environments that include workshops, labs and offices.

The new agreement strengthens the long-term collaboration between Nordisk Renting and the Swedish National Heritage Board, and is an example of how property ownership can contribute to a more sustainable future. In this case, we were able to offer the Swedish National Heritage Board more efficient premises and at the same time offer the Police’s growing operations expanded premises in the same building. The Swedish Council for Higher Education is also established in the property, which has developed into a hub for government agencies.

Nordisk Renting offers leasing solutions for real estate to corporates and the public sector in the Nordic region. We have a long-term perspective and also offer flexible buyback options, which allows us to adapt to customer needs. The result is a safe, transparent and customer-oriented solution.
